Misery

"Some people really get off on the misery of other people. It makes them feel good. My lawn mower accident was a miserable experience that has resulted in a series of miserable events. I am glad that I made some people happy."

Thanksgiving

Thanks for giving! I am grateful for the many people who have reached out to me in support of the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety awareness advocacy. Indeed, there is considerable work required to make yard accidents extinct. I have noticed that people fall on the continuum of extremely selfish on one end and extremely generous on the other end. Rescue Rick believes that both extremes are not healthy and could lead to an increased yard accident. Once again, thank you to all of the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man fans and supporters all over the world. Also, thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my passion and artistic expression to heighten yard safety awareness. THANK YOU!

District of Columbia

During my travels across America, I always take along my Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man costume and toy lawn mower. Every yard safety super hero needs a toy lawn mower. Actually, I had to attach a golf club driver to my toy lawn mower in order to push it around the streets of various towns and cities without developing a chronic back problem. Consequently, I am really driving my yard safety awareness campaign. Indeed, I have pushed my toy lawn mower in several cities including New York City (Broadway, Park Avenue, Madison Avenue, etc.) Next stop, I am compelled to visit the streets of the District of Columbia to spread my yard safety awareness message. There is one major concern. I am not sure how this behavior would be received. Therefore, I will contact the Metropolitan Police Department of DC (MPDC) to ask for their permission. Then, I will push my toy lawn mower on a course to cover America at least by street name (Pennsylvania Avenue, etc.) Ultimately, I would like to arrive at the White House and be invited to push my toy mower on the White House lawn as a symbolic gesture regarding my concern for the grass cutting welfare of America. I would be thrilled if President Bush would also push my toy lawn mower. What would Jesus do?

Cry to Ride

Dan'o & The Big Schwag:

"Monster Radio" - Saturday, 8-10 PM EST, Radio America, http://www.radioamerica.org

I want to thank you for your efforts involved in booking me for "Monster Radio" hosted by The Big Schwag. I am grateful for the national airtime on Saturday, November 12, 2005 to broadcast my yard safety awareness message. It was not my best performance; I was unsure of the format of the show given the presence and role of the other guests - Scott Gillen and Gard Hollinger. Nonetheless, I still believe in my abilities, and I recognize The Big Schwag (at least I can spell his character name correctly) as a great radio and television voice. At one moment of the show, I heard someone indicated that there was a gap of 1 minute and 20 seconds. I wanted so badly to interject my vision for a coast-to-coast lawn mower ride with a reality show on the SPEED Channel. Actually, I envision Scott Gillen as director, Gard Hollinger/Jesse James as the master builders of the custom-made Rescue Rick Mobile, and The Big Schwag as the show host. Also, I can see Bad Boy Mowers getting involved as a sponsor of the show; Bad Boy Mowers can be involved in the first-ever national yard safety ride across America. I want to entertain with a public service. I strive to become the Mister Rogers of yard safety. I do not anyone to get hurt. My presence in contrast to the likes of master builder choppers and cars is pure form and beauty. Furthermore, along the "National Yard Safety Awareness Grass Cut Trail," I encourage some cameo appearances by some interested celebrities and folks to randomly join-in throughout the ride across America. I really wanted to talk about this concept last night. I have a passion for creating yard safety awareness. Regarding yard safety tips, I know the basic fundamentals. As I indicated on "Monster Radio" last night, there is not very much detailed information and statistics available on lawn mower accidents. I know that it is a concern and responsibility to the public to give people more knowledge and awareness. I believe that third-party events via television and radio can create awareness on behalf of several parties (including lawn mower manufacturers) indirectly without increasing product liability concerns for the outdoor power equipment manufacturers. Actually, I envision the product liability concern to decrease because the public service message broadcasts will educate and create awareness to more safely operate outdoor power equipment. At the very least, I strive to reduce the number "stupid human trick stories" heard about people carelessly using outdoor power equipment (thank you David Letterman for this visual expression). I really am a yard safety super hero. I need to appear on "Monster Radio." Also, I need to get to know The Big Schwag better to develop better chemistry on the air. I want to ride a lawn mower across America. I want you and your friends (even Jesse James and Sandra Bullock and all of the celebrated custom chopper and car clients) to come along for a ride of our lives and the betterment of humanity. It is sad to see a child amputate his limb for life due to a preventable lawn mower accident. It is sad than to visit with a widow of a lawn mower accident victim regarding a preventable lawn mower accident fatality. I share this with you because this is the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man who did not communicate these additional thoughts on "Monster Radio" last night. Please direct me to the right people and situations in order to make the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man inspired Ride Across America - trailblazing the National Yard Safety Awareness Grass Cut Trail - a reality. Like Lewis & Clark, it is up to media to communicate this public service message via a neat reality show showcasing a real-life caped-crusader for yard safety.
God Bless You.

My Dad

My dad died November 13, 1995. It has been ten years. He was Christ-like in many ways, and he was very resourceful and patient. He reached out to those less fortunate as well as those more fortunate. He was a self-taught genius on many levels. My dad really was a super hero. Therefore, it is no wonder that I want to save the world from yard accidents. My dad would have been the biggest fan and ingenious supporter of the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety advocacy. Now, my dad lives with Jesus; his body rests in Morefield Cemetery located in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. I feel the presence of Jesus and my dad as I take steps toward achieving my life goals and mission. My dad was a saint. He would have worn a Rescue Rick T-Shirt around town with pride until it was threads. In many ways, I do not think that my dad would be surprised by my passion to reach out to other people. He would embrace Rescue Rick. I wish that he still lived on Earth. I miss my dad. I really loved my dad. He was a great man. Before I die, I want to ride a lawn mower across America and then continue around the world. I want to be buried in my Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man super hero costume.

Monster Radio

I had the opportunity to be a guest this evening on "Monster Radio" hosted by The Big Schwag (who I incidentally mispronounced his name) - not good. The Big Schwag has a big heart. I met him at the International Lawn, Garden & Power Equipment Exposition 2005 held in Louisville, Kentucky a few weeks ago. The Big Schwag is the spokesperson for Bad Boy Mowers. I stopped by their booth at the show and introduced myself. They are a good group of guys and executives. This evening, I was on "Monster Radio" for about 20 minutes including the time for commercials. I briefly described my lawn mower accident and talked about people losing digits while grass cutting. The Big Schwag was accompanied tonight by two talented individuals: (1) Scott Gillen, Executive Producer of "Build or Bust" and accomplished stunt car driver and director of automotive commercials and (2) Gard Hollinger, master builder of custom motorcycles to celebrities and the star of "Build or Bust" on the SPEED Channel. I am grateful for this opportunity. I would like to make a cameo appearance on "Build or Bust" as well as talk with Scott Gillen about making the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man ride across America documentary. Again, I am grateful for the opportunity to be on "Monster Radio." Thank you THE BIG SCHWAG (at least I spelled it right.) I hope that The Big Schwag will invite me back onto "Monster Radio" in the future. Best wishes!

The Painting

I have been asked by several people recently about how I could set a price of $1,000,000 for the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man painting entitled "The Lawn Mower Accident." I have been criticized that I am no Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, to name a few masters. My response to them, "You are correct. I am Richard Mudrinich, and I believe in my painting." I am making passionate brush strokes to advance my yard safety awareness advocacy. My painting "The Lawn Mower Accident" depicts grass needing a "hair cut" coupled with the aftermath of a lawn mower accident on the other side. The capillary action of the blades of grass draws the victim blood up toward the heavens. The sacrificed flesh demonstrates the need for even more yard safety awareness. Likewise, up from the puddle of blood and blood-soaked soil, the sunflower embraces the birth and evolution of the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety awareness campaign. It represents the beacon of light that will shine and drive more advances and create more awareness about the importance of yard safety leading toward the elimination of yard accidents - including those involving outdoor power equipment. I recognize the value in the message of the "The Lawn Mower Accident" painting. I think others will enjoy and appreciate the meaning of the painting as well. I want to make yard accident extinct. Indeed, I am not Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, da Vinci or Rembrandt. I am Richard Mudrinich, painting with the passion and spirit of Rescue rick the Grass Cut Man. The positive attention gained from selling the Rescue Rick painting for $1,000,000 will help spread the word and provide needed funds to advance the advocacy. Thank you.

Phantom

My left foot still hurts. I continue to experience phantom pain.My right knee now hurts. My right hip now hurts. My back is developing spasms. My lawn mower accident was a real pain in the foot and beyond.

Nonetheless, I am a determined yard safety advocate to march forward in order to prevent outdoor power equipment accidents from happening to other people. I am committed to yard safety awareness. My last wish is to be buried as Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. In the meantime, there are millions of people around the world that need to be rescued before they have a life-altering yard accident. I will go to sleep now. I HAVE A DREAM TOO.

Safe People

I encourage and promote yard safety. Also, I encourage people safety - seek "safe people."

I support President George W. Bush. I am a patriotic citizen of the United States of America. President Bush is my president in my democracy that allowed me to dress-up as Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man on Halloween and push a toy lawn mower (golf club driver attached handle) throughout a few communities during Trick-or-Treat. I have the freedom to express myself and literally drive my passion of promoting yard safety awareness, with a goal to significantly reduce the number of outdoor power equipment accidents and resultant life changes.

During my travels, I have uncovered several thousand people who have experienced a life-changing power tool accident. Personally, my life has been filled with multi-faceted challenges. My life could be better. Nonetheless, I am inspired by President Bush. President Bush is United Methodist. I am United Methodist. He is my BROTHER. Also, I can appreciate some of his challenges and experiences. Also, I appreciate the WorldMagBlog to share some of my thoughts.

I will reflect on the WorldMagBlog comments while I am pushing my retrofitted toy lawn mower around the streets of the District of Columbia. I want to prevent outdoor power equipment accidents. My altered foot hurts everyday. My opposite knee and hip hurt everyday. My back is developing spasms. My wallet hurts.

My lawn mower accident can partly be attributed to unsafe people. Therefore, I seek some "Safe People", as described by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. I provide a brief description of the content of their book entitled "Safe People." "Countless individuals have invested themselves into people who've shipwrecked their lives in return. They've been abandoned or taken advantage of, and left with little to show for what they've given. They've lost the sense of security and personal value in the process. If you're one who has chosen the wrong people to get involved with or makes the same mistakes about relationships over and over again, then the Safe People book offers you a remedy." To me, President Bush fits the description of "Safe People." I seek people like President George W. Bush.

Good night and safe grass cut tomorrow. Thank you.
