Tattoo

The Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) yard safety campaign has entered into a whole new market. Indeed, Rescue Rick (sm) is a renaissance yardman utilizing various art forms to communicate the yard safety message. The latest art form is body art - the tattoo. I visited with a few tattoo artists located who are very excited to add the signature Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) profile shot to their tattoo inventory. It means a tremendous amount to me that an individual would put the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man(sm) tattoo on their body as a gesture to promote yard safety awareness. Grass Cut Safety and Rock On! I do not have any tattoos. Thank you for your body talk!

Find A Cure

I want to find a cure for yard accidents, in particular grass cut accidents. I believe that the solution partially rests in the analysis of human behavior via cognitive psychology, etc. In addition, I believe that there is room for improvement in educating both buyers and users of outdoor power equipment - at time of purchase and time of use. Furthermore, I have a few safety ideas for outdoor power equipment manufacturers to enhance safety design features. Nonetheless, we all need to improve.

Happy Mother's Day

I am grateful for my mom. My mom has influenced Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. She has a long history of reaching out to help other people. She seems to always put other people before herself in a Christ-like fashion. Also, my mom has really cared for Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. She really helped me immediately after my lawn mower accident. It was a very difficult and challenging time for several reasons. My mom took care of me. Likewise, I have inherited a will to rescue people from having a yard accident. If not for my mom, the many yard safety innovations that Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has introduced to the world would have never happened. My mom died in 2017, and she would be so sad that I have not had the resources to advance any of my ideas. Instead, other people and institutions have built businesses and advanced their organizations off of my inspirations and experiences. It is sad that there was nobody who cared enough about me to help me fulfill my desires.

Also, I want to suggest to all mothers the importance of adding yard safety to the skills and tools that you give and teach your children. Each year, children represent about 20% of all people who get hurt from outdoor power equipment related accidents. Furthermore, I encourage all mothers to give their children the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety tips, to become better prepared and more knowledgeable about using outdoor power equipment. I recognize that motherhood introduces considerable responsibility. Please visit the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man website https://www.rescuerick.com to learn more about yard safety. I do not want your baby to get hurt.

Happy Mother's Day!

Grass Cut Food

I present a few ideas to maintain high-energy levels while you grass cut.

Oatmeal: A serving of oats provides plenty of slow-release carbohydrates, which will give you more sustained energy than, say, processed sugar. Oatmeal has also been shown to lower cholesterol. Have it for breakfast or anytime, and add skim milk and dried fruit for extra nutritional punch. Instant oatmeal offers much the same benefits as rolled oats, but avoid presweetened brands, which have a high sugar content. If oats are good for a work horse, I suggest that oats are good for the grass cut person.

Sports Drinks: Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and chloride are lost in sweat. Sports drinks help put back electrolytes and stimulates thirst to drink more fluids and maintain hydration. Sports drinks give working muscles more energy to help fight fatigue and provide a mental edge - stay alert and stay safe.

Often times, yard accidents happen due to fatigue. I offer just a few suggestions to maintain high-energy levels to get the job done.

Professional Golfers' Association of America

There is another super hero in town. I am a long-time fan of the Professional Golfers' Association of America, including a long-time golfer. Presently, I am a disabled person. Nonetheless, I present to you Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) - a yard safety super hero. I had a lawn mower accident that resulted in the partial amputation of my left foot. Consequently, I have been an advocate and promoter of yard safety, with the goal to prevent these outdoor power equipment accidents from happening to other people. Furthermore, I have been a renaissance yardman, utilizing various art forms to communicate my safety message. We all recognize the talent and care required to manicure golf courses - some of the greatest landscape architecture in the world. Thus, I want to partner with the PGA about the possibility of dedicating one day each golf season as Yard Safety Awareness Day. Each year, there are about 400,000 individuals (about 20% children) who experience lawn mower and garden-tool-related accidents, often times resulting in severe and life-altering outcomes. Since golf is America's fastest growing sport enjoyed by millions of people and played on natural turf, I ask for any assistance that you may provide to facilitate this humanitarian idea. In addition, I have been an inventor and innovator of various yard safety products and services, including yard footwear inspired by amputating part of my foot with a lawn mower.  I have struggled financially for several years for various reasons, making it difficult to accomplish anything. Thank you for your consideration. I can be reached at (724) 347-4078. Best wishes!

Chi Energy

Chi energy is all of the energy of the universe around us. In three manifestations Heavenly, Earthly, and Personal Chi, it is the stuff of life itself. All three together comprise Universal Chi. Other cultures have called it different things such as Ki (Japanese), Qi (Chinese), Ruach (Hebrew), Great Spirit (Native Americans), Life Force (New Age American), and Spirit (Celtic). All things that exist contain some part of this energy. It is the energy that causes molecular motion thus demonstrating its existence in everything.

It is important to maintain optimal Chi energy while grass cutting, leading to the prevention of yard accidents. It is important to prepare for your grass cut session by utilizing mental imaging and by channeling your Chi energy toward achieving a safety grass cutting experience.

Think before you cut. It hurts. (tm)

Cinco de Mayo

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man celebrates Cinco de Mayo. I continue to create the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man pinata. Today is Cinco de Mayo ("The Fifth of May" in Spanish). The date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

It commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza SeguĂn over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. However, the Mexican victory at Puebla only delayed the French invasion of Mexico City, and a year later, the French occupied Mexico. The French occupying forces placed Maximilian I, Emperor of Mexico on the throne of Mexico; Maximillian and the French were eventually defeated and expelled in 1867, five years after the Battle of Puebla.

The reference to the Battle of Puebla is seen as a symbolic cultural link to those who had to overcome insurmountable odds while facing adversity. In neighborhoods such as East Los Angeles, the Mission District of San Francisco, East San Jose and elsewhere throughout the Southwest, Cinco de Mayo is most accurately characterized as a day of celebration to honor a culture that fuses Mexican heritage and American life experience.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man recognizes that important contribution of many people of Mexican decent who work in the landscaping industry. I want to prevent any Mexicans from getting hurt. No mulched and shredded Mexicans!

Be yard safe! Think yard safety! Think before you cut. It hurts! Be a yard safety crusader!
