Lawn Mowing Shoes

Richard Mudrinich is the founder and inventor of the first-of-its-kind lawn safety footwear and gear, including the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Yard Safety Footwear™. "I am the first yard safety super hero in the history of the world. Furthermore, I am the first person in the world to invent garden grass landscape landscaping lawn mowing turf yard safety footwear specifically targeted for the landscaping experience. I conceived these ideas, especially the yard safety footwear, after chopping-off part of my left foot with a walk-behind power push lawn mower while cutting the grass,” shares Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man.

“I was inspired to invent my yard safety footwear immediately after my yard accident. While in the hospital recovering from several surgeries as a result of my severe lawn mower accident, I made a life-commitment (divine inspiration) to yard safety awareness. In the hospital bed, I conceived the concept of the first-of-its-kind yard safety footwear and gear in order to prevent yard accidents from happening to other people and animals. Since I cut-off part of my left foot, I focused initially on designing and developing the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Yard Safety Footwear™. My focus then expanded to design Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Yard Safety Gear™ to protect other parts of the body. These personal protective equipment items are yard safety insurance products and promote preventative medicine as well. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ will donate to educational and charitable purposes,” shares Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ has received a divine direction (patent) from God to continue to promote the concept of yard safety footwear. He recognizes that other individuals have taken his idea as their own. He wishes that those individuals would acknowledge that Richard Mudrinich (Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™) is the inventor of yard safety footwear. Furthermore, there are some individuals who exhibited unethical, unprofessional, and maybe illegal behavior with regards to private discussions, especially involving some federal (government officials, small business development centers, etc.), federal affiliated (SCORE), commercial organizations (patent attorneys), non-profit organizations (hospitals, business development organizations, etc.) that exist to help an entrepreneur development his idea into a business, including protecting intellectual property. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ cautions entrepreneurs about approaching these organizations, especially with regards to intellectual property. In essence, the entrepreneur feeds these organizations ideas that are then distributed and exploited beyond the entrepreneur. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ was exploited by organizations established to help (not exploit) entrepreneurs. Indeed, there are now several new entrants into the yard safety footwear arena. Also, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is the source of other small and large corporations entering the yard safety footwear business. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is the source of new footwear applications by recent entrants into the lawn safety footwear market, including existing safety footwear. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is disappointed in these individuals and organizations, especially those acknowledging that Richard Mudrinich is the father and inventor of garden grass landscaping lawn mowing turf yard safety footwear. Richard Mudrinich wants some credit and compensation for acting as the catalyst of a new niche yard safety marketplace. "Throw the yard safety super hero a bone," requests Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is a caped crusader and yard safety super hero working tirelessly to prevent lawn mower accidents and to promote yard safety. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is a renaissance yard man utilizing various art forms to communicate his safety message. “I want to educate and entertain the general public regarding the importance of yard safety. Lawn mower accidents happen in a split-second, often resulting in life-altering outcomes that sometimes include amputation. I learned this from first-hand experience when I amputated part of my left foot while cutting the grass,” shares Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™. “Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is here today so that yard accidents go away.”

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is a yard safety awareness conduit for the betterment of mankind. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ wants to create awareness regarding the frequency and severity of lawn mower accidents and to promote preventive measures to rescue individuals and families from the dreaded experience associated with yard accidents. Each year, there are about 100,000 lawn mower accidents. Furthermore, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that hospital emergency rooms treat more than 400,000 outdoor garden-tool-related accidents each year. Estimates from past statistics indicate that yardwork accidents fatally injure more than 3,000 people. According to Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man, "Think before you cut. It hurts. I encourage you to heed the outdoor power equipment safety precautions and to promote yard safety!"

I am the #inventor of the #lawn #yard #footwear concept. I was the primary #caregiver of my #mom for over 15 years; I could not advance my concept. In the meantime, several corporations and a few startups have created yard shoes. I am looking for kindred spirits who will help make my footwear vision a reality. #RIPMom #RRtGCM

Be yard safe! Think before you cut. It hurts!

Apathy

There is a sense of natural apathy associated with power equipment accidents. The sad reality is that I feel that I am trying an innovative approach to creating yard safety awareness. I do not see anything wrong with my approach, yet I share some recent feedback from two loyal supporters of Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man with different opinions below:

"Your endeavor is seen as very, very, very weird. No real, normal, rich, powerful, successful people want anything to do with a poor peasant buffoon like you."

"You are a pioneer. A real pilgrim in the fight for yard safety. You should be canonized someday."

I appreciate these words of encouragement, and I continue to forge ahead with my yard safety awareness crusade. Furthermore, I have learned that nobody really cares about yard accidents until they or someone they know gets hurt. The power equipment people think that the yard accidents are the result of human behavior and poor judgment. The yard accident victims (if alive) believe that there were not enough safety precautions. I recognize that there is significant room for improvement in communicating the yard safety message and improving yard safety education. I do not think that Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is weird. I think that my approach is necessary in order to create some awareness so that yard safety accidents can finally be prevented. Yard safety is not a joke, yet the serious approach has not solved the problem. Therefore, The Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Show continues.

If asked specifically, most people express appreciation and gratitude for my yard safety awareness. Otherwise, nobody really cares even though about 500,000 individuals each year experience a yard accident. It is a very bizarre phenomenon. Think before you cut. It hurts. (tm)

Bobblehead Doll

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man really enjoys baseball. I wish that Major League Baseball would designate June 21st (First Day of Summer) as Yard Safety Awareness Day (tm) at all MLB ball parks, including the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Bobblehead Doll (tm) as a yard safety promotional item. I dream of pushing my toy lawn mower before a packed stadium and broadcasted via the scoreboard to all Major League Baseball parks. Also, I have created a commemorative Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Bobblehead Doll for the World Series. Ironically, I now have nine toes - one for each inning of a regulation professional baseball game.

National Safety Month

Each June, the National Safety Council encourages businesses to get involved and participate in National Safety Month. Each week carries a theme that brings attention to critical safety issues.

(Source:  http://www.nsc.org/nsm/)

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man applauds the safety awareness generated by the various National Safety Month promotions. Likewise, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man recognizes that many of these weekly themes apply to yard safety as well. Social Entrepreneurship

Most lawn mower accidents occur between April and October, with June being the peak accident month. I had a lawnmower accident that resulted in the partial amputation of my left foot. There are over 400,000 yard accidents each year; there needs to be better data collection related to yard accidents.

For the past 20 years, I have advocated for yard safety awareness. Along the way, I have inspired many corporations and individuals to get more serious about creating awareness as well. In addition, I have inspired several corporations and entrepreneurs to commercialize many of my ideas. I have tried to develop collaborations, partnerships, strategic alliances, etc. (whatever you want to call it), yet I keep getting exploited and ignored. In particular, with a partially amputated left foot, I am obsessed with developing and marketing my yard safety shoe concept. I envision the commercial success of the yard shoe as a key ingredient to fuel my social enterprise endeavor to help other people. It is very difficult to accomplish while living in perpetual poverty. I will continue to plug along in isolation.

In the meantime, please follow safety guidelines regarding all types of yard work. Think before you cut. It hurts! Be yard safe!

Summer Yard Safety Awareness Day

The First Day of Summer 2023 is Wednesday, June 21st. It is another Yard Safety Awareness Day (YSAD). YSAD? I am sad because I am thinking about all of the people who had yard accidents and got hurt or died. I celebrate because I want to create awareness so that other people can be rescued from yard accidents and live safe lives. Actually, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man celebrates Yard Safety Awareness the first day of each season. Yard safety awareness exists everyday all year long across all different seasons throughout the world. Please take a moment and learn more about yard safety. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today so that yard accidents go away.

Father of Yard Footwear and Apparel

I am the #inventor and #father of the #lawn #lawncare #yard #footwear and #apparel concept. I was the primary #caregiver of my #mom for over 15 years; I could not advance my concept. Also, to complicate matters, I developed some serious chronic health issues of my own.

In the meantime, several corporations and a few startups have created yard #shoes and #apparel. I do not appreciate other people and companies using the phrase yard shoes and apparel and acting like it was their idea. It is painful to watch a company get the needed resources to execute my vision and then pretend that it was their idea. #RIPMom #MyIdea #NotGivingUp

I seek to work with #ethical and #moral people and organizations to advance my overall mission and vision.

Father of Characters

Richard Mudrinich is a father as well - a father and pioneer of various yard safety characters, products, and services. His nickname is Mud. Some people think that he is backwards, yet he is not Dum(b). He is Mud - Man of Unexplained Desire.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (Richard T. Mudrinich) is the father and inventor of yard (garden grass grounds landscaping lawn mowing turf) safety footwear, including boots, galoshes, overshoes, and shoes. He is the father of yard safety educational concepts, tools, and venues, including apparel, artwork, coloring and activity books, comic books, games, media, software, etc.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has given birth to a family of characters to educate and entertain folks on his yard safety awareness message. It all started with Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man after Mud had a severe lawn mower accident that resulted in the partial amputation of his left foot. Next, Tripod the Dog become the faithful sidekick of Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. Tripod has three legs after experiencing a yard accident as well. Furthermore, MowBoVatar was born as an ambassador to the technology communities and venues as part robot and part avatar programmed with the mission to broadcast the yard safety message. The Twin Blades were introduced to represent the economic, environmental, and humanitarian challenges that exist between commerce, health, and public interest with regards to the fragile balance of saving the people versus saving the company. Army Armadillo was born to highlight the need for personal protective equipment. Toxy Turfy advocates yard chemical safety. Shaky focuses on health and machine vibration concerns. Zilch is a number man who keeps count of yard accidents and dreams of the number zero when the goal of zero yard accidents is finally achieved. There is still work that needs to be done. Moreover, Mud is the father of Yard Safety Crusaders - a growing group of concerned citizens around the world who want to communicate the yard safety message.

In addition, Mud is a serial social adventurer and father of festive informative characters. While in college, Mud created Captain Junk Food and the Four Food Groups to promote healthy nutrition and a balanced diet.

Furthermore, Mud is Richard Mudrinich as well - probably the biggest most complex character of them all. Think. Dream. Put your head in the clouds. Think some more. Be whatever character you want to be. Be yourself first. Live.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Happy Father's Day

It is FATHER'S DAY. It is important for FATHERS around the world to teach their children about yard safety. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

I want to honor the many fathers around the world.  Also, I want to offer my condolences and sympathies to those individuals and families whose fathers have passed away.

In particular, I want to take a moment and reflect and pay tribute to my dad, Robert N. Mudrinich (December 22, 1930 - November 13, 1995). My dad died November 13, 1995. My dad was the greatest man that I have ever known. He was Christ-like in many ways, and he was very resourceful and patient. He reached out to those less fortunate as well as those more fortunate. He was self-taught on many levels. He was an innovative and inventive genius. My dad really was a super hero. Therefore, it is no wonder that I want to save the world from yard accidents. My dad would have been the biggest fan and ingenious supporter of the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety advocacy. Now, my dad lives with Jesus; his body rests in Morefield Cemetery located in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. My dad was a saint. He would have worn a Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man T-Shirt around town with pride until it was threads. In many ways, I do not think that my dad would be surprised by my passion to reach out to other people. He would embrace Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man, while some others think I am just an idiot. I wish that he still lived on Earth. I miss my dad. I really loved my dad. He was a great man. Before I die, I want to ride a lawn mower across America and then continue around the world. I want to be buried in my Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man super hero costume.

In short, I want FATHERS to learn about yard safety. I want MOTHERS to learn about yard safety. I want FAMILIES to learn about yard safety. I want CHILDREN to ask their PARENTS about yard safety. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today to promote yard safety awareness and rescue individuals, families, and institutions from yard accidents.
