Memorial Day

It is Memorial Day Weekend.  Memorial Day 2020 is Monday, May 25th.

Memorial Day is an American holiday dedicated to the memory of all war dead. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) is grateful for all of the men and women who have served in the U. S. military to protect and defend their country and to promote freedom, so that I can dress as a yard safety super hero and promote yard safety awareness.  I recognize that freedom is not free.  Often times, American citizens extend the concept of honoring war dead to all dead. I want to take a moment of silence to remember family members, friends, and fellow Americans who have passed away. (SILENCE)

Also, I must remember the individuals who have died while grass cutting - killed by outdoor power equipment. (SILENCE) The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that there have been over 3,000 fatalities during the past 30 years. In recent years, there are still about 150 lawn mower fatalities each year. This is one reason that the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) campaign exists. It is unfortunate that war sometimes results in loss of life while fighting for your country as a true patriot. Again, I want to thank all of the American soldiers who have served and are currently serving their country. Furthermore, it is really unfortunate to die from a fatal outdoor power equipment accident. Wake-up America! Indeed, you can die from cutting grass. Think before you cut. It can kill you. BE SAFE! (tm) I hope that you enjoy this Memorial Day Weekend because the WAR DEAD and the LAWN MOWER DEAD WILL NOT. Again, I am very grateful for the FALLEN WAR HEROES, and I recognize the LAWN MOWER DEAD.  I remember DECEASED FAMILY and FRIENDS.  I respect and honor all the lives of the DEAD.  THANK YOU! (SILENCE)

21 Lawn Mower Salute! (SILENCE)

Thank you for serving our country. Thank you for the memories! (CELEBRATE LIFE)

Yard Shoes

Richard Mudrinich is the founder and inventor of the first-of-its-kind lawn safety footwear and gear, including the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Yard Safety Footwear™. "I am the first yard safety super hero in the history of the world. Furthermore, I am the first person in the world to invent garden grass landscaping lawn mowing turf yard safety footwear specifically targeted for the landscaping experience. I conceived these ideas, especially the yard safety footwear, after chopping-off part of my left foot with a walk-behind power push lawn mower while cutting the grass,” shares Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man.

“I was inspired to invent my yard safety footwear immediately after my yard accident. While in the hospital recovering from several surgeries as a result of my severe lawn mower accident, I made a life-commitment (divine inspiration) to yard safety awareness. In the hospital bed, I conceived the concept of the first-of-its-kind yard safety footwear and gear in order to prevent yard accidents from happening to other people and animals. Since I cut-off part of my left foot, I focused initially on designing and developing the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Yard Safety Footwear™. My focus then expanded to design Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Yard Safety Gear™ to protect other parts of the body. These personal protective equipment items are yard safety insurance products and promote preventative medicine as well. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ will donate to educational and charitable purposes,” shares Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ has received a divine direction (patent) from God to continue to promote the concept of yard safety footwear. He recognizes that other individuals have taken his idea as their own. He wishes that those individuals would acknowledge that Richard Mudrinich (Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™) is the inventor of yard safety footwear. Furthermore, there are some individuals who exhibited unethical, unprofessional, and maybe illegal behavior with regards to private discussions, especially involving some federal (government officials, small business development centers, etc.), federal affiliated (SCORE), commercial organizations (patent attorneys), non-profit organizations (hospitals, business development organizations, etc.) that exist to help an entrepreneur development his idea into a business, including protecting intellectual property. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ cautions entrepreneurs about approaching these organizations, especially with regards to intellectual property. In essence, the entrepreneur feeds these organizations ideas that are then distributed and exploited beyond the entrepreneur. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ was exploited by organizations established to help (not exploit) entrepreneurs. Indeed, there are now several new entrants into the yard safety footwear arena. Also, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is the source of other small and large corporations entering the yard safety footwear business. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is the source of new footwear applications by recent entrants into the lawn safety footwear market, including existing safety footwear. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is disappointed in these individuals and organizations, especially those acknowledging that Richard Mudrinich is the father and inventor of garden grass landscaping lawn mowing turf yard safety footwear. Richard Mudrinich wants some credit and compensation for acting as the catalyst of a new niche yard safety marketplace. "Throw the yard safety super hero a bone," requests Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. "I was the primary caregiver for my mom with some very serious health issues for the over 15 years, which limited my ability to advance my concept. My mom has since passed away, and I would like to revisit bringing my shoe concept to market." "Incidentally, my left foot has gotten worse since my accident to the point where prominent foot and ankle surgeons have indicated that I will require a complete forefoot amputation of my left foot. Also, my right foot is breaking down as well."

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is a caped crusader and yard safety super hero working tirelessly to prevent lawn mower accidents and to promote yard safety. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is a renaissance yard man utilizing various art forms to communicate his safety message. “I want to educate and entertain the general public regarding the importance of yard safety. Lawn mower accidents happen in a split-second, often resulting in life-altering outcomes that sometimes include amputation. I learned this from first-hand experience when I amputated part of my left foot while cutting the grass,” shares Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™. “Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is here today so that yard accidents go away.”

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is a yard safety awareness conduit for the betterment of mankind. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ wants to create awareness regarding the frequency and severity of lawn mower accidents and to promote preventive measures to rescue individuals and families from the dreaded experience associated with yard accidents. Each year, there are about 100,000 lawn mower accidents. Furthermore, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that hospital emergency rooms treat more than 400,000 outdoor garden-tool-related accidents each year. Estimates from past statistics indicate that yardwork accidents fatally injure more than 3,000 people. According to Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man, "Think before you cut. It hurts. I encourage you to heed the outdoor power equipment safety precautions and to promote yard safety!"

Be yard safe! Think before you cut. It hurts!

Yard Safety Maternity T-Shirt

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man features a "Product of the Moment." Mother's Day appreciation and remembrance is the air. Also, Mothers-To-Be are preparing to become mothers. Children are involved in about 25% of all yard accidents. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man offers some advice to mothers with regards to children and yard safety awareness:

YARD SAFETY TIPS

Children should not operate a lawnmower until they are 16 years old. Also, children should demonstrate a maturity-level consistent with operating the equipment in a responsible manner.

Even if you believe your child is old enough to mow, spend time showing him or her how the mower works and watch to be sure that he or she can do the job safely.

Children should not ride as a passenger on ride-on mowers. The tendency to take kids for a ride on the mower is a careless old habit. Riding mowers provide many safety features for the operator, but they are not built for passengers.

Children on riding mowers have the potential to fall and be run over by the mower, resulting in serious injury and/or amputation of the extremities. Riding mowers are one-person machines; never tow children in carts or trailers while mowing.

Children and pets should not be in the yard while the lawn is being mowed. Again, children should not be anywhere near the operation of lawnmowers or anywhere near the mowing area.

MATERNITY T-SHIRT

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has created the Yard Safety Awareness Maternity T-Shirt to spread the yard safety message. The Yard Safety Awareness Maternity T-Shirt is available in both white and black.Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man wants your baby to be yard safe! Happy Mother's Day

I am grateful for my mom. My mom has influenced Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. She has a long history of reaching out to help other people. She seems to always put other people before herself in a Christ-like fashion. Also, my mom has really cared for Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man. She really helped me immediately after my lawn mower accident. It was a very difficult and challenging time for several reasons. My mom took care of me. Likewise, I have inherited a will to rescue people from having a yard accident. If not for my mom, the many yard safety innovations that Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has introduced to the world would have never happened.

Also, I want to suggest to all mothers the importance of adding yard safety to the skills and tools that you give and teach your children. Each year, children represent about 20% of all people who get hurt from outdoor power equipment related accidents. Furthermore, I encourage all mothers to give their children the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety tips, to become better prepared and more knowledgeable about using outdoor power equipment. I recognize that motherhood introduces considerable responsibility. Please visit the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man website http://www.rescuerick.com/ to learn more about yard safety. I do not want your baby to get hurt.

Happy Mother's Day!

Dangerfield

I can relate to Rodney Dangerfield, the American comedian and actor best known for the catchphrase "I don't get no respect." Likewise, I don't get any respect either. Actually, Rodney received much more demand and respect than me. Nonetheless, there is danger in the fields. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is an innovator and inventor of various yard safety concepts, products, and services. Furthermore, nobody really cares about yard safety. It is pathetic. Think before you cut. It hurts in many many ways!

Outdoor Equipment Fatalities

I learned of a few more lawn mower fatalities recently. I am sad to hear of the deaths of these individuals. Indeed, there have been some advances in outdoor power equipment safety. There can always be room for improvement. Nonetheless, I pray that people can hear my yard safety awareness cry to prevent yard accidents.

I have learned through my personal yard accident and yard safety advocacy that most people do not care about yard safety until there is an accident. It seems to be human nature for some people. I have heard people use the David Letterman analogy of "stupid human tricks" to describe the traumatic yard accidents involving people - sometimes animals. It is not stupid. People need yard safety education to at least instill some necessary caution to respect the power and limitations of the machine. Also, people need to learn what to do when they have a concern or question about operating their yard equipment.

I commit many hours each day to yard safety awareness - essentially for free. There is little demand for my products and services, despite the constant on-slaught of yard accidents and fatalities. Nonetheless, I am proud that some people and companies have take a few of my ideas.

After my yard accident, I was approached by various attorneys who discussed taking legal action against the various parties associated with my lawn mower accident. Since my yard accident, I have lived in poverty - recovering on many levels and living in pain each day. My passion for yard safety awareness is so great that I declined to entertain taking legal action against anyone. I want to collaborate with many organizations that have anything to do with yard safety awareness. I want to find a cure for yard accidents. I want to make people yard safety intelligent - not yard safety stupid.

Once again, I offer my deepest sympathies to the friends and families who have lost a loved one to a yard accident. I offer my support to those have experienced a yard accident. I offer my friendship to those associated with the outdoor power equipment and distribution industries. I offer my gratitude to those involved in the medical community to provide health care for those experience a yard accident. I offer my gratitude to God to plant seeds for yard safety awareness in preparation for a day of safe work and harvest. I invite anyone to become a yard safety crusader.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today so that yard accidents go away! Think before you cut. It hurts! Be yard safe!

Poverty

Poverty is deprivation of those things that determine the quality of life, including food, clothing, shelter and safe drinking water, but also "intangibles" such as the opportunity to learn and to enjoy the respect of fellow citizens. Ongoing debates over causes, effects and best ways to measure poverty, directly influence the design and implementation of poverty-reduction programs and are therefore relevant to the fields of international development and public administration.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man knows about poverty. Actually, there are several people who live in poverty as a result of yard accidents. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has been conducting field research related to poverty.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man looks forward to working with various organizations to study and reduce poverty.

Be yard safe! Think before you cut. It hurts! Think about poverty. It hurts!

Cinco de Mayo

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man celebrates Cinco de Mayo. I continue to create the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man piñata of yard safety awareness.

Cinco de Mayo ("The Fifth of May" in Spanish) is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

It commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. However, the Mexican victory at Puebla only delayed the French invasion of Mexico City, and a year later, the French occupied Mexico. The French occupying forces placed Maximilian I, Emperor of Mexico on the throne of Mexico; Maximillian and the French were eventually defeated and expelled in 1867, five years after the Battle of Puebla (Source: Wikipedia).

The reference to the Battle of Puebla is seen as a symbolic cultural link to those who had to overcome insurmountable odds while facing adversity. In neighborhoods such as East Los Angeles, the Mission District of San Francisco, East San Jose and elsewhere throughout the Southwest, Cinco de Mayo is most accurately characterized as a day of celebration to honor a culture that fuses Mexican heritage and American life experience (Source: Wikipedia).

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man recognizes the important contributions of many people of Mexican decent who work in the green industry. I want to prevent any Mexicans (anyone) from getting hurt. No mulched and shredded Mexicans!  I do not want anyone to die or get hurt!

Be yard safe! Think yard safety! Think before you cut. It hurts! Be a yard safety crusader!
