Tripod the Dog

Tripod the Dog (sm) is the first yard safety (green) super hero doggy in the history of the world.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) seeks to adopt a faithful sidekick – a three-legged dog amputee who survived a lawn mower accident. The doggy will be called Tripod the Dog. We will work together to promote yard safety. With the addition of Tripod (sm), I want to illustrate that lawn mower accidents impact animals as well. The doggy amputee offers a great vehicle to introduce children and adults alike to the amputee community, plus Tripod is a main attraction. Furthermore, through a pet adoption, I get to save the life of a pooch that might otherwise be terminated. Tripod will be a great dog sending a very important message about both amputees and safety. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man seeks assistance from the various pet adoption organizations in helping him locate Tripod the Dog.

It is amazing how Richard Mudrinich (creator of Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man, Tripod the Dog, etc.), who experienced a traumatic lawnmower accident over a decade ago, has been the catalyst and inspiration for so many green industry innovations and yard safety developments.  I have even promoted pet adoption and rescue.  Thank you!  You are welcome!

Martin Luther King

This year, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was Monday, January 18th.  It is observed on the third Monday of January each year.  I was unable to post my annual MLK Jr. Day blog entry in a timely manner this year.  Nonetheless, I still want to express my gratitude toward Dr. King, especially since there is still work to be done.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a promoter of non-violent social change. Like Dr. King, I believe in servant leadership; I have a dream also. In particular, I want to rescue people from experiencing yard accidents. Yard accidents do not discriminate. They happen to all people regardless of their race, color, religion, creed, or national origin. Each year, there are 100,000 lawn mower accidents and 400,000 outdoor garden-tool-related accidents. It is time for some more behavioral and social change. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (sm) wants to make a contribution toward the elimination of yard accidents. It seems like people really do not care much about yard safety awareness until it is too late. Nonetheless, I have a dream too. I cannot wait to give my Nobel Prize acceptance speech to validate my yard safety message. Think before you cut. It hurts. Be yard safe. (tm)
