Yard Equipment Fatalities

I learned of a few more lawn mower fatalities recently. I am sad to hear of the deaths of these individuals. Indeed, there have been some advances in outdoor power equipment safety. There can always be room for improvement. Nonetheless, I pray that people can hear my yard safety awareness cry to prevent yard accidents.

I have learned through my personal yard accident and yard safety advocacy that most people do not care about yard safety until there is an accident. It seems to be human nature for some people. I have heard people use the David Letterman analogy of "stupid human tricks" to describe the traumatic yard accidents involving people - sometimes animals. It is not stupid. People need yard safety education to at least instill some necessary caution to respect the power and limitations of the machine. Also, people need to learn what to do when they have a concern or question about operating their yard equipment.

I commit many hours each day to yard safety awareness - essentially for free. There is little demand for my products and services, despite the constant on-slaught of yard accidents and fatalities. Nonetheless, I am proud that some people and companies have take a few of my ideas.

After my yard accident, I was approached by various attorneys who discussed taking legal action against the various parties associated with my lawn mower accident. Since my yard accident, I have lived in poverty - recovering on many levels and living in pain each day. My passion for yard safety awareness is so great that I declined to entertain taking legal action against anyone. I want to collaborate with many organizations that have anything to do with yard safety awareness. I want to find a cure for yard accidents. I want to make people yard safety intelligent - not yard safety stupid.

Once again, I offer my deepest sympathies to the friends and families who have lost a loved one to a yard accident. I offer my support to those have experienced a yard accident. I offer my friendship to those associated with the yard equipment and distribution industries. I offer my gratitude to those involved in the medical community to provide health care for those experience a yard accident. I offer my gratitude to God to plant seeds for yard safety awareness in preparation for a day of safe work and harvest. I invite anyone to become a yard safety crusader.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today so that yard accidents go away! Think before you cut. It hurts! Be yard safe!

Types of Lawn Mower Accidents

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is obsessed about creating yard safety awareness and striving to make yard accidents extinct. It is apparent that universities are conducting more research into the phenomenon of yard accidents. I found the following excerpt from the University of Arkansas - Division of Agriculture - Cooperative Extension Service

Four types of power lawn mower accidents cause the majority of injuries:

Contact with rotating blade.
Propelled objects. Rocks, glass and wire are hurled at initial speeds above 170 miles per hour. Objects maybe thrown 50 feet or more, causing death and injuries ranging from blindness to severe bruising.
Overturning. This occurs primarily when riding mowers are used on steep slopes or embankments. Victims may be pinned under the mower or come into contact with the blade.
Riding mowers running over the victim. Accidents occur if the operator fails to look when backing a riding mower. Playing children are seriously injured. Or, an operator pulls a power mower backward over his or her foot.

Please take a moment and think about each of these types of yard accidents involving a lawn mower. They should all be preventable. Furthermore, it takes a team effort to prevent these lawn mower accidents, including the operators of the equipments to follow the operator's manual, the equipment manufacturers to strive to eliminate product defects, the equipment sales channels to create yard safety awareness, community centers to broadcast yard safety awareness messages, etc.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today so that yard accidents go away! Think before you cut. It hurts! Be yard safe!

Yard Safety Poem

Yard Safety Awareness (Poem)
By Richard Mudrinich

Think before you cut. It hurts!
Sometimes even blood spurts.
You go to the emergency room.
You sometimes go to the operating room.

You become dependent on the care of a medical professional.
Sometimes even congressional.
It costs everyone a lot of money.
It is far from funny.

Sometimes you yell ouch
Spending many hours at home on the couch.
After the accident things are not the same.
Life presents you with a new and different game.

Many people want to prevent a yard tragedy.
Many medical professionals work in harmony.
Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today
So that yard accidents go away.

Think before you cut. It hurts!
Think before you cut. It hurts!

Yard Landscaping Turf Safety Footwear

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has designed yard landscaping turf safety footwear. Incidentally, Richard Mudrinich (Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man) is the first person in the world to conceptualize and design yard safety footwear. He is driven to promote yard safety awareness and promote various products and services to rescue individuals from yard accidents. He had a severe lawn mower accident that resulted in the partial amputation of his left foot.

He has received a divine direction (patent) from God to continue to promote the concept of yard safety footwear. He recognizes that other individuals have taken his idea as their own. He wishes that those individuals would acknowledge that Richard Mudrinich (Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man) is the inventor of yard safety footwear. Furthermore, there are some individuals who exhibited unethical, unprofessional, and maybe illegal behavior with regards to private discussions, especially involving some federal, federal affiliated, and commerical organizations that exist to help an entrepreneur development his idea into a business, including protecting intellectual property.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man lives in pain every day because of his lawn mower accident. He is obsessive compulsive about yard safety awareness. If not for his yard accidents and promotion of yard safety awareness, including products and services, there would not be any focus of developing the niche market of yard safety footwear. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man suggests that individuals consider their respective situations with regards to their entry into the world of yard safety footwear. It is not appropriate to steal from others. It is a violation of one of the Ten Commandments!

Nonetheless, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man recognizes that yard safety gear is just one aspect of the overall yard safety wellness program. He realizes that most yard accidents can be prevented. Therefore, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man stresses the importance of yard safety tips, involving suggested human behavior, so that people think and act with regards to yard safety.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is the inventor of yard safety footwear (landscaping safety footwear, turf management safety footwear, etc.) Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man believes that God will provide Richard Mudrinich (Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man) the means and resources in order to complete His work. In God We Trust!

Subprime Mortgage Hedge Funds

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today to trim the hedges - hedge funds. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is a yard safety super hero who strives to rescue individuals from accidents involving green grass and now greenbacks.

It is apparent that Wall Street is completely out of control - pressing the smoke-and-mirrors environment to a new level of fraud and unethical behavior. Risk management and investment performance is masked by mismarked positions and shady investment management. Wall Street has many tricks and holds these cards of the trade close to its vest. With the current subprime mortgage hedge fund fiasco, the Wall Street cards have been dropped and revealed to the public and investment communities around the world. Indeed, Wall Street firms stick it to other Wall Street firms as well. Nonetheless, the Wall Street shell game will reshuffle for the sake of maintaining the markets - preventing a dramatic market collapse. Yet, I hope that justice will be served. Bad sneaky is as bad sneaky gets. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is here today to rescue the investor from getting mulched on Wall Street.

Think before you invest. It hurts. Please be careful with your investment decisions. Wall Street serves its purpose, and Wall Street will take your money. I caution your trips to the Wall Street casino. Wall Street is very shrewd, very cruel, and very sick. It is a wonderful day in the Wall Street neighborhood - the gang will stick you if they can!

In short, there are some similarities between yard accidents and Wall Street accidents - both involve stupid human tricks on various levels.

aPAL

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man presents some recommended actions (aPAL) as solutions to prevent yard accidents and to promote yard safety awareness (YSA).

Awareness - create awareness regarding the frequency and severity of lawn mower accidents and recommend the implementation of preventive grass cut safety measures and procedures.

Protection - wear personal protective equipment when grass cutting.

Avoidance - hire a professional lawn service that absorbs the risk and implements grass cut safety measures and procedures.

Legislation - propose new legislation (perhaps, The Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man Act) that sets the minimum lawn equipment operator age at 16 with required grass cut safety education, introduces an operator's license, launches various grass cut safety educational programs targeted at various age and occupational groups, etcetera.

Cancer in Cleveland

My mom is receiving cancer treatments at University Hospitals Ireland Cancer Center located in Cleveland, Ohio. I prayed for the best medical treatment that would best suit my mom. Indeed, she received good care from her previous doctors and hospitals, yet it seemed time to try something different. My mom has received a huge blessing in the form of life saving treatment. Indeed, hope is in the air at the Ireland Cancer Center and at the near-by Hope Lodge (sponsored by the American Cancer Society). I am a caregiver with hopes that mom will be rescued from the cancer.

I provide a brief tribute to the University Hospitals Ireland Cancer Center with a few excerpts from the Ireland Cancer Center website. University Hospitals Ireland Cancer Center, part of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, is dedicated to innovative treatment and promising research in the fight against cancer through ongoing studies aimed at cancer treatment and prevention. One of only 39 Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the country designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Ireland can offer cutting-edge treatments earlier than most other cancer centers. Our affiliation with Case Western Reserve University provides ongoing studies aimed at cancer treatment and prevention. Patients receive skilled care through our multidisciplinary team approach. Experts in surgery, medical oncology, radiation therapy, pathology, nursing, social work and psychology work together to create a personalized treatment plan that meets physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Patients also benefit from more than 300 clinical trials, many of them featuring new drugs developed by our own clinician-scientists. Ireland is one of only eight cancer centers in the country to have access to a pipeline of new drugs through the NCI for early phase clinical trials. Recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top 25 hospitals for cancer care in the country, the mission of Ireland Cancer Center is simple: to cure cancer. We are blessed to stay at the Hope Lodge near the University Hospitals. I provide a tribute to the wonderful people associated with the Hoped Lodge. It is terrific. The Joseph S. & Jeannette M. Silber Hope Lodge is a unique home away from home for people who need temporary, comfortable, supportive accommodations offered free of charge during cancer treatment. For its guests, Hope Lodge offers a private bedroom/bathroom suite and shared kitchen, library, dining room, living room, and surrounding gardens.

He seeks to educate and entertain the world in order to eliminate yard accidents, so that other do not have to experience the trauma and death associated with such yard accidents.

Pray for those with cancer! Live to reduce the risk of cancer! Show compassion and love for those with cancer!

Independence Day

It is the Fourth of July! America celebrate Independence Day!

Independence Day is regarded as the birthday of the United States as a free and independent nation. Most Americans simply call it the "Fourth of July," on which date it always falls. It is a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks.

Also, it is a day involving many activities in the lawn. Across America, millions of individuals and families will grass cut their lawns in preparation for the celebration of America's birthday. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man wants to encourage the safe operation of outdoor power equipment. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that hospitals emergency rooms treat more than 400,000 outdoor garden-tool-related accidents each year.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man likes his freedom to push his toy lawn mower around America promoting yard safety awareness. If he wants to dress like a yard safety super hero, he can in America. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man lives the American Dream. Happy Fourth of July!

Think before you cut. It hurts! Be yard safe! Happy Birthday America!

Princess Diana

On July 1, Princes William and Harry will celebrate the life of their mother, Princess Diana, at Wembley Stadium, featuring performers and interviewers with many people touched by the grace of Princess Diana. Proceeds of the concert will benefit charities that were close to the heart of Princess Diana.

Starting in the mid- to late 1980s, the Princess of Wales became well known for her support of charity projects. This stemmed naturally from her role as Princess of Wales - she was expected to engage in hospital visitations where she comforted the sick and in so doing, assumed the patronage of various charitable organizations - and from an interest in certain illnesses and health-related matters. Owing to Public Relations efforts in which she agreed to appear as a figurehead, Diana used her influential status to positively assist the campaign against landmines, a cause which won the Nobel Prize in 1997 in tribute, and with helping to decrease discrimination against victims of AIDS.

In addition, President Clinton referred to Princess Diana as the Queen of Hearts. Likewise, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man has been referred to as the Nine of Hearts - in reference to his nine remaining toes after experiencing a severe lawn mower accident. If Princess Diana was still alive, I am sure that she would have taken interest in the Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man yard safety awareness campaign. Furthermore, Great Britain really likes gardens and lawns. Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man really likes to promote yard safety.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man is inspired to continue with his global yard safety awareness campaign. Thank you Princess Diana!
