Second YSA Day

The second Yard Safety Awareness Day (tm) will take place on Wednesday, June 21, 2006. It corresponds to the First Day of Summer. Please take the time on June 21st to recognize the importance of yard safety awareness. I encourage communities all over the world to each build a Yard Safetyland (tm) to educate, entertain, and demonstrate yard safety tips. Yard Safety Awareness Day (tm) is a day to reflect on the importance of yard safety and to acknowledge that a life can change in a split-second after a yard accident. I encourage individuals who had a yard accident to share their stories. Also, I encourage yard safety specialists to share best practices with regards to yard safety. The goal is zero accidents. Think before you cut. It hurts. (tm) Yard Safety Awareness Day is Alive!
