I am glad I found your site. My 4 year old daughter just informed me tonight that her father who drinks while he mows the grass on his riding mower which is one of the oldest snapper riding mowers out there has been allowing her to ride with him on this mower. Never mind it is not safe because this mower is so old, he drinks while mowing, she is nly 4 and a riding mower is meant for one person to drive - no riders. I have spokjen to him about this to no avail. He has told our child that he will do what he wants when she is with him.
I wish there was some sort of law banning this type of behavior. My nephew was hurt on a riding mower and has required numerous surgeries to fix the problem and it is still not fixed. His foot is malformed and he has difficulty walking.
I am aggravated to say the least. My ex was at the hospital to see my nephew who was hurt.
