May the Fourth Be with You. May the Force Be with You as well.

Star Wars Day is an informal commemorative day observed annually on May 4 to celebrate the Star Wars media franchise created by filmmaker George Lucas. Observance of the day spread quickly through media and grassroots celebrations since the franchise began in 1977.

A few years ago, I attended Star Wars Day at PNC Park in Pittsburgh to be enjoy a Major League Baseball celebration well supporting my Pittsburgh Pirates.  I took off my Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man uniform to go undercover as a Pirates.  I admired the view of the city, the excited fans, the best ballpark in America, especially the manicured turf, etc.

I had a few conversations with people at the ballpark about yard safety awareness. They thought it was a terrific idea, and they want to see and hear more about Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man.

Think before you cut. It hurts! Be yard safe. May the force of yard safety awareness be with you.
